EFET, the European Federation of Energy Traders, promotes and facilitates European energy trading in open, transparent and liquid wholesale markets, unhindered by national borders or other undue obstacles.
EFET improves the conditions for energy trading by:
• Finding solutions for market design and advocating suitable policies and regulatory measures;
• Providing standard solutions to the repetitive aspects of wholesale energy transactions;
• Encouraging probity, good risk management practices, responsible corporate governance and proper accounting among energy traders.

Energy Traders Association (ETD) comprises leading energy trading companies to promote liberal energy trading and development of sustainable, transparent and liquid markets in Turkey. Therefore, ETD facilitates and promotes universal rules, regulations and standards for a marketbased framework of the energy markets.
ETD has 36 institutional Trading License holding members.There are four working groups that work on and elaborate concrete steps towards market liberalization: Legal and Regulatory, OTC and Exchange Markets, Standardization and Retail.
Working group leaders meet on a regular basis and communicate their results to the Management Board where all the proceedings are shared with members.
